Ascalon Medical Office Building

scroll View Project Description
  • Rendering of the exterior of a modern office building with people and cars outside.
  • Rendering of a first-floor lounge area next to a central staircase.
  • Rendering of the front facade of a three-story office building and its parking lot Infront of it.

Project Details

Drawing inspiration from the spirit of medieval ruins and the heroic feats of Saint George who slayed the dragon with his lance, Ascalon, the design of the Ascalon Medical Office Building creates a calm, relaxing, and healing atmosphere. The offices surround a central courtyard that creates a restorative environment. Ascalon inspires caregivers in their heroic commitment to their patients and provides an environment of peace and healing.

The three-story building includes a double height lobby, structured parking on the ground floor, and two levels of medical offices above. The courtyard is the central lifeline of the building, connecting the offices to the outside and natural light. A canopy over the primary entrance evokes imagery of a drawbridge offering the feeling of shelter and protection. The building exterior is layered with stone and brick walls. The effect is a harmonious composition that creates a place of respite and repose.
